Saturday is a Special Day

What I plan on Doing:

Find a Rite Aid in this crazy city
Go to class (technique 1-3, composition 3-4:30)
Play the rest of the day by ear...I don't know what we are doing nor do I care

What Really Happened:

Found a Rite Aid....but it was a failed attempt...Planned to find one after class
Was late to class because there was construction on the subway
Shared some sushi with Justin to tide me over until dinner
Walked through Central Park and saw a roller blade dance party (see story below)
After walking 33 blocks and a few avenues, we found out that the Rite Aid pharmacy had closed. Fail.
Found a really cool diner where we enjoyed dinner and took home red velvet cake and strawberry shortcake.
Watched Mary and Max on Netflix

While on our very long walk to Rite Aid, we ran into a roller dance party of sorts. We were a bit confused as to what it really was, and still aren't quite sure. It was enjoyable, to say the least. It was filled with  huge (muscular)  men rollerblading while at the same time getting groovy. But amidst the muscle we happened to see a cute skinny little old white man getting groovy in his own way...(look for the white man with the hat...and prepare yourself)

That little old man did that dance for as long as we were there. He later had recruited others including the very defined man in the white pants you see grooving across the screen. What a funny guy. It just goes to show....dance is for everybody!

Hope you had a great Saturday!
