My Thing.

Here's the deal. I spend a lot of time (that could be spent doing more productive things, I'm sure) browsing CUTE blogs. The thing is, the cutest ones blog about what they love. Most the time it is clothing, photography, jewelry, etc. I wouldn't necessarily say that those are MY things. But what I would say is my thing is fitness, wellness, health...and DANCE of course! So I have decided to change it up a bit. Every day, I will post a tip on fitness, health, whatever it may be. If you have a question about working out, health, motivation...etc, ask me and I will make a post about it! If you promise to tell your friends, I will promise to try and cute-en up my blog. Deal? DEAL!

first tip of the day:
DO NOT STRETCH before you work out. You will highly increase your risk of injury. Your muscles are cold before you work out which can cause you to pull your muscles if you try and stretch before you work out. Think of your muscles like a rubber band. What happens if you stretch a rubber band and let go of it? It goes right back to it's original size, right? Well, that is exactly what is happening to your muscles when you stretch before you work out. You need to warm up before you stretch. It is safer and your body will thank you for it in the long run!
